Los Angeles 5-1 FC Dallas (Pizza Hut Park)
The Galaxy took FC Dallas behind the woodshed, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in just 45 minutes. Galaxy striker (and MLS journeyman) Edson Buddle scored a hattrick, Chris Klein got one and Landon Donovan deflected a pass off Duilio Davino for the own goal. Dominic Oduro managed a meaningless conciliation goal for the home side before defender Adrian Serioux tried to flatten David Beckham and was sent off. All around it was a good day for LA and a bad day for the Hoops.
