Colorado couldn't find the cure for Ricketts, Rohan Ricketts, who scored a brace in the Reds rout of the Rapids. Danny Dichio opened the scoring with his fifth of the season. The lopsided wins continued as Luciano Emilio scored a hattrick and Clyde Simms added another, and DC demolished their east coast rivals. The starless Red Bulls are in for a long summer unless they can find help fast.

Sans LD, journeyman Edson Buddle seems to have found a home in Los Angeles. Buddle's hattrick gives him eight goals on the year. San Jose continues to look like an expansion side.
