USSF picks home qualifier sites

The United States Soccer Federation announced today that the three home matches in the semi-finals of CONCACAF World Cup qualification will be played at RFK Stadium, Dick's Sporting Goods Park and Toyota Park.

Assuming U.S. soccer sinks minnows Barbados in their home-and-away matches (beginning on June 15), the U.S. will take on the winner of the Trinidad & Tobago-Bermuda series in September at Toyota Park, home of the Chicago Fire. The Nats then face either Cuba or Antigua at RFK Stadium, home of DC United, before finishing their campaign against either Guatemala or St. Lucia at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, home of the Colorado Rapids, in November.

Our boys should be good and warmed up for the poor little bearded ones. The Nats have matches scheduled against England at Wembley Stadium on May 28 and against Argentina on June 8th at Giants Stadium. Sandwiched in the middle will be a camp based in Spain.
